Is the rod tip better high or low?
- The rod tip works best at least a 45 degree or better
angle. The higher the rod tip the farther the planner goes
out.

What is the ideal trolling
speed ?
- The bobber planer can handle up to 2mph, but the best
speed is between .5 and 1.5 mph.

Will it work in fresh or
saltwater ?
- Yes, all parts are rust free.

Can you adjust the depth of
the bait ?
- Yes, by adjusting the length of the line with the depth
adjusting clip.

What is the stainless steel
screw used for ?
- To adjust the tension on the line depending on the
diameter of the line.

Can it be used in shallow
water ?
- Yes by running 30 to 40 feet to the side of your boat.
This allows your boat to run in deeper water and not spook
the fish.

Will bobber planer disengage
when strike occurs ?
- Yes when rigged for release rigging line will pull out from
under depth adjusting clip and slide down to bait or swivel.
